Every year, the Fondation la France s'Engage (FFE) selects associations that answer current issues with innovative solutions (unemployment, environment, education...), to help them grow in France.
The FFE's challenge is to provide support in soft skills to laureates with very different levels of maturity and different needs, but with a challenge of structure and overall consistency of the system.
Therefore, the target populations are founders or first employees within the organisation (start-ups, associations) who are confronted with new issues: management and leadership: as young managers, they must find their management and leadership style. Continue to "deliver" while having the necessary perspective to give direction to the teams. Stress and time management: growing activity generates requests (customers, suppliers, employees, partners...). Coaching may be necessary for personal organization and priority management to produce the same level of standard. Communication/public speaking: Whether leading a team or convincing clients, speaking and communication are essential for young leaders. Personalised support on these topics is invaluable at this stage of development.
"Today we've had some very positive feedback from coachees and they tell us they got concrete tools that really met their needs, identified with their Simundia coach."
Targeted coaching to help us see things more clearly, identify the issues and take action quickly and concretely. Thank you for allowing me to benefit from this coaching, it was extremely interesting and useful for the rest of my career!
Whether in management & leadership, stress and time management or public speaking and communication, Simundia coaching has covered a very diverse population in terms of both profiles and needs.
With each of these topics (and many others!), the objectives are to arrive quickly at a visible and activable result in daily life. The targeted profiles have little time for development and are therefore keen to make the most of the 3 one-hour coaching sessions to develop their skills.
The results were very satisfactory from the first class (class of 2018 winners), so much so that the scheme has been perpetuated and extended to all new winners. The coachees particularly appreciated working with their coach on tools that can be used during and after coaching.
